Welcome to Desert Fox Shooters (DFS) Online Photography Community Forum. DFS is primarily composed of Filipino photographers (professionals, serious hobbyists, and enthusiasts), based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who continuously search for meaning in life through photography appreciation. The online community forum is a manifestation of the members' enthusiasm in the craft of photography and consequently provides a meaningful venue in sharing their experiences, skills, and techniques among the group and within the general photography community.

Forum discussions are categorized in different aspects of photography, and are governed by the following guidelines:

1 Upon invitation to DFS Online Community, an individual is required to register using his/her real name (as display name). A verification e-mail will be sent to confirm identity and authenticity. Members are encouraged to post details in the “Introduce Yourself” thread and provide a personal photo as their avatar. In this way, members of the forum can get to know each other better.
NOTE: Please update your Personal Profile (Age, Location, Birthdate, About Me etc...)

2 General members will have full access to all general topics in the forum; start a new topic, reply to existing topics, and participate in the online shoutbox (DFS Tambayan). Please observe courtesy and utmost respect when conversing and communicating with other members of the forum. Un-ethical posts, profane and foul language, and any acts of unbecoming will not be tolerated and will automatically forfeit membership in the community forum. Language of communication will be in Filipino and English.

3 Members are encouraged to participate in forum discussions, post sample photographs whenever necessary, and provide insights whenever possible. It is through meaningful participation that this community will continue to grow maturely. Nonetheless, meaningful posts are effectively done by posting in the appropriate topics and discussions. Ensure posting in the correct topic and reserve the chit-chats in the shoutbox (DFS Tambayan), or send private messages to specific members whenever necessary.

4The forum maintains a friendly and happy environment. Friendly competitions and challenges are provided to encourage members to post their most meaningful photos at a particular time (photo of the week and monthly photo contests). Arcade games allow members to take a break and simply have fun during the most challenging time.

5Various events will be posted in the Events and Announcements category, and will also be reflected in the community calendar. If you have an important event that you wish to be included in the calendar, please do not hesitate to contact any of the administrators (red colored members) and moderators (blue colored members). For technical questions about the site, contact the technical support team (green colored members).

6 The forum caters to Pro-Members (paid accounts) who will have the following benefits: i. access to paid discussion topics, ii. dedicated DFS eMail account, iii. free or discounted registration fees to various events and workshops organized by the community, and iv. dedicated bandwidth on the DFS Photo Gallery. Please contact any of the forum administrators, moderators, and technical support team for further inquiry.

7 Finally, we encourage every member to continuously grow in photography by way of actual photo-taking. Do not be a couch-potato nor simply stare at your computer screens. Spend time to take photos, learn from experience, join photo-EBs and workshops, and share your own techniques and skills. And bring your whole family too.
